Physiotherapy, formerly also called physiotherapy, is a medically prescribed remedy and serves to treat and prevent a wide variety of complaints, injuries and diseases. Various active and passive techniques and procedures are used, such as physical measures, massages and manual lymph drainage. It is a sensible supplement and sometimes also an alternative to surgery or medication.

The aim of physiotherapy
The aim of all these treatments is to achieve optimal (joint) function and sufficient freedom of movement. By removing blockages and lowering increased tissue tension, improved mobility is achieved, thereby influencing functional causes of diseases and symptoms.
